Frequently Asked Questions
What materials do you use for mounting and framing?
Since it's my hope that the photograph(s) you purchase will provide many years of enjoyment, I use archival printing inks and acid-free, off-white mattes. Also, my mounting boards are of nonwarping 3/8" Gatorfoam material — not the cheaper foamcore, which is prone to warpage.
I use wood frames, exclusively, which better accent my scenic and wildlife images than do metal frames. I use glass to front my framed work, since plastic scratches too readily.
How long will it take to receive my order?
I work as a single artist, doing all of the photography, printing and framing myself. This ensures quality control, but is a bit more time consuming. I endeavor to fill all orders within 48–72 hours. However, if a particularly busy period requires me to reorder supplies, there could be a week or two delay in filling an order. This time frame should be kept in mind if ordering pictures for Holidays and other special occasions.
Do you distribute E-mail addresses to other merchants?
Definitely not! I will protect your privacy at all times. Please see my privacy statement on this website.
Do you have other photographs of the same or different subject matter for sale than appear on this website?
I certainly do. The practical constraints of a web site prevent me from showing hundreds of other photographs that are in my portfolio. Feel free to contact me with your specific inquiries.
Can I purchase rights to any of your images?
Yes, I will sell one-time or unlimited rights to any of my pictures for advertising purposes. I do not sell rights to my images for commercial reproductions.
